Face is typically illiterate due to its deformities, simply growling and gurgling unintelligibly. His mouth is deformed beyond recognition, having several missing teeth and his bottom lip hanging unnaturally towards the centre of his abdomen. Several leather straps are tied around his body and his arms, likely to maintain body integrity.

Folds of skin overlap on his head and stomach and his eyes wander, implying poor eyesight. Face is a scientifically constructed creature formed from the corpse of a human victim, and sports several deformities from the process. He later appears in a nightmare sequence and the couple are overjoyed by his return. In this, he begins stalking Minx and Krism as they explore their home, scaring them with brief appearances.

Face also makes an astonishing return in the indie horror game The Apartment. Minx plays a few games and eventually leaves, guilt-stricken when he meekly bids her farewell. In the Easter Egg room, he is the owner of a small bowling alley and wears a Russian hat. However, one instance that differs from this routine is in the custom map Terebris Lake. He will either find her and chase her in a game of tag, or he will give up and start searching for her somewhere else. Face searching around the area for her while she hides in fear. Whenever he appears, Minx and him will immediately begin playing a game of hide and seek, Mr. Face makes various appearances in Minx' playthroughs of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and it's various custom maps, all with the same role and behaviour.

All of their limbs are crudely misshapen, perhaps indicating that they were all an earlier rendition of the Manpigs before the Engineers, before their progenitor properly figured out how to create the creatures better. Despite their humanoid limbs their body and head are suid in origin and they are forced into a hunched, quadrupedal posture. As the initial foe, they appear in large numbers throughout the facility (especially in the late stages of the game) and are comparable to the Servant Grunt of the previous game, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.Īlthough they cannot be killed (with the exception of one in the Pigline), they do low damage thanks to being such an early foe.
